Artist's Comments

This is my friend Nick, who is a real life red head model for Ambercrombie and American Eagles Outfitters (barf). His shirt is not from Crombie, though. Before arriving at the studio, we visited the thrift store where we pulled of a hiest by stealing that shirt he's wearing. We also got lost driving in downtown trying to get to the studio, struck by sponteneousity, taking the new unfamiliar route. First time I feel like a tourist in my own beloved city and discovered it truthful that men do not listen to directions.

Taken on thursday at the studio (formerly an old ciggerrete factory) while I have Nick lay on one of those therapy beds, looking up as I walk down the stairs, capturing his picture through the stair's transparent glass. All eyes focus on the top picture, am I correct? My stomach becomes uneasy while looking at him floating like a ghost as he could plunge down any minute.

Will he?

The top one looks really strange, like he is floating on the celing looking down at me. I love the angles on both of them. GJ.

It's easy to explain simple things so they seem to be complex...to explain complex things so they seem easy - that's the real challenge!
